Skip bo Card Game

Game Objective:

Skip bo card game objective is to get rid of all your cards in your stock pile before anyone else.

The Cards:

Skip bo card game uses a Skip bo card game deck. The deck has 162 cards total; each card has a number on it ranging from 1 to 12, except for 18 cards Skip bo cards.

How To Play Skip bo card game:

Players: For 2 to 4 players deal 30 cards to each player, for 5 or more deal 20 cards. For a shorter game deal out 10 cards to each player.

Stock Pile: Each player will have one stock pile with the top card turned faceup, it is important to remember that your goal is to get rid of your stock pile and the cards in your hand are to help you get rid of your stock pile.

Discard Pile: Only 4 discard piles are allowed at a time. Only one card is discarded at the end of your turn. The card may be discarded to your discard pile in any order you choose.

Draw Pile: The draw pile is made up of the remainding cards.

Building Pile: Only 4 building piles are allowed at a time. Cards will be played to the building pile in the center in numerical order. When a pile makes it to 12 remove that pile, you or the next person may start a new pile in the empty space.

Cards in Your Hand: The cards in your hand are to be played as needed. If you play all 5 cards, you may draw 5 more cards. Note: discarding your last card to your discard pile doesn't count, all cards must be played to the center.

To play Skip bo card game each person draws 5 cards from the draw pile. The building piles are created when a 1 or Skip bo is played. Skip bo cards played as wild cards. Play the cards to the building pile in the center in numerical order. Continue playing from your hand or stock pile until you can't play any more then discard a card to your discard pile to end your turn. The winner is the player who gets rid of his/her cards first.

Scoring:

The winner gets 5 points per card left in opponents stock pile, and a additional 25 points for winning. The person who reaches 500 points first is the winner.
